TIP # 3

Don’t jump at every good offer.

Check it out before you buy. It’ll be there next week or next month.

A scammer might be gone in a week or two.  Before you buy some membership, software, or ebook check out a review.  Go to Google, Yahoo, Bing, or GoGoDuck and search for the product with review typed in at the end.  Don’t read just one.

Also many sites use Reviews to get clicks to their affiliate links.  Others use it to increase their downline on MLM.  I have found that Warrior Forum has a lot of information.  It is also a great place to learn many things from the comments.

As you may have noticed, when you click and cancel on an offer, the price drops a lot. Prices go from $97 to $77 then $37 and finally $7.

I have also found that Paypal is the easiest way to pay and it is very secure.

So please think about your purchase before jumping on that big BUY NOW button.

Like my grandfather said about problems, ” Wait 3 days and those problems will be gone.”

Well, I like to say, ” Wait three days and you probably don’t want it anymore.”

Fred’s Tip # 2 for Oldies who are Newbies in Internet Marketing

TIP # 2

Use one password for UNIMPORTANT things.

It is difficult to remember many different passwords.  And if you do use different passwords, write them down and keep them in a secure place. Use a password of between 8 to 12 characters.  Mix them up between capital letters and lower case, numbers, and marks. Use something you can remember easily.  For example:

My first true love was Susan in 1967, but I didn’t  have money for dates. So the easy to remember password would be: “Sue1967$0”.

Many membership sites require a password so having one password for all the less important things makes it really fast and easy. Getting a new password when you forget it can be a hassle.  Please use a very secure password for the important things dealing with money, hosting, blogs, domains, and important membership sites.

Also using one USER NAME is convenient. It doesn’t have to be your real name.

For Boomers remembering the past is much easier than remembering what we ate for breakfast unless you are like me and eat oatmeal every morning.

TIP # 1

Get some notebooks and write things down.

Why? You are going to forget information

and won’t be able to find it again.

As you are surfing through Internet, you

are going to find some interesting stuff.

If you don’t write the URL  down, you will

forget how you found that site.

Use different notebooks for different

things and tag the pages so that you can

read them from the outside.  Different

colored notebooks for different topics

might work well, too.  I learned the hard

way.  Stay organized.  Don’t get frustrated.

It’s been six months since I bought my first computer

at the age of 61.

That’s right, sixty one.  They called me Mr. Analog.

I have studied and studied.  I have been frustrated so many times.

But I am going to keep pushing on.

I have acquired a great deal of knowledge on the DOs and DON’Ts

on how to get started with marketing on internet.

I will be sharing this information on this blog.

I have a few good, honest mentors who provide me with a lot

of free information.  That’s great because I don’t have extra money

to spend and internet marketing is going to be my supplement income

until I die.  Wish me luck and help me out.
